Zeebra explores the design of a community-focused app that works like “Uber for referees,” allowing users to quickly find and book certified officials for games.
The platform trains and certifies aspiring referees, then connects them with local athletes, leagues, and organizers through a simple, all-in-one system for booking and payment.
Designed to be trustworthy and easy to use, the app helps solve the shortage of referees while making it easier for communities to run fair, organized games.
  • Local sports communities struggle to find qualified referees, especially for youth leagues and casual games. The process to find referees can be slow. Zeebra needed a clear way to position itself as the trusted platform that certifies new referees and connects them directly with players and organizers who need them.

  • Fair play depends on more than rules — it depends on trust. Athletes and organizers want officials who are trained, dependable, and easy to book. At the same time, aspiring referees need a simple path to certification and steady opportunities to work. By bringing both sides into one streamlined system, Zeebra can strengthen local sports from the ground up.

  • We built a brand and product framework that positions Zeebra as the go‑to platform for accessible, professional officiating at every level. The app simplifies certification, booking, and payment, giving communities instant access to trained referees while empowering new officials to build experience.

Overzealous sports parents love to shout from the sidelines, offering loud cheers, questionable advice, and calls no one asked them to make. This concept uses that universal moment to highlight how Zeebra removes the need for volunteer parents to act as officials.
